EXPERIENCE
Head of the litigation team at Lamar, Archer & Cofrin, Bob Lamar has experience in virtually all areas of civil litigation. A proven trial lawyer with over 40 years experience, Mr. Lamar has developed special expertise in multi-party, complex litigation, including commercial, products and premises liability, professional malpractice, securities litigation, and class actions, as well as the litigation of complex insurance coverage issues. He has a national practice having litigated cases in over twenty states with more than 40 published appellate opinions, including in the United States Supreme Court where he was lead counsel in Lamar, Archer & Cofrin, LLP v. Appling, 584 U.S. ___, 138 S. Ct. 1752 (2018). Mr. Lamar has successfully defended many multi-million dollar claims and obtained numerous seven and eight figure recoveries on behalf of his clients. Mr. Lamar has served as lead counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous national class actions, including City of Rome, Ga. vs. Hotels.com, et. al. where he successfully recovered in excess of $30M in hotel taxes on behalf of virtually all of the cities and counties in Georgia against an aray of online travel companies
Prior to founding Lamar, Archer & Cofrin, Mr. Lamar practiced with two of the largest firms in Atlanta and served as Legislative Fellow to former U.S. Senator Sam Nunn in Washington, D.C.

EXPERIENCE
A member of the litigation team, David Davenport has over 29 years of litigation experience. He has tried numerous various civil litigation cases in the State and Superior Courts of Georgia as well as in United States District Courts. He has argued before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and before the Ninth and Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Davenport has been a speaker on medical malpractice in 1996 through 2005, and on class actions in 2007 and 2008, at Seminars sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia, as well as the National Business Institute. He also has served on Ethics Panels from 2003 through 2006.
